Who may avail: All owners of residential, institutional, commercial, and industrial building in the city.
As per City Tax Ordinance No. 2009-002, series of 2009, Chapter 3, Article L, the Office of the City Engineer through the Electrical Section conducts electrical safety inspection, testing, and verification of the electrical wirings of residential, institutional, commercial, and industrial building before the installation of electric meters by the electric power service provider to ensure their conformance to the provisions of the Philippine Electrical Code and issue Certificate of Final Electrical Inspection if they are found compliant to the code.
Electrical Fees
The following schedule shall be used for computing electrical fees in residential, institutional, commercial and industrial structures:

k. Formula for the Computation of Fees
The Total Electrical Fees shall be the sum of Sections 4.a. to 4.d. of this Rule.
l. Forfeiture of Fees
If the electrical work or installation is found not in conformity with the minimum safety requirements of the Philippine Electrical Codes and the Electrical Engineering Law (RA 7920), and the Owner fails to perform corrective actions within the reasonable time provided by the Building Official, the latter and/or their duly authorized representative shall forthwith cancel the permit and the fees thereon shall be forfeited.
