Scholarship Program (CITY ORDINANCE)

Who may avail:                Poor and underprivileged but deserving high school and college students, and academically excellent students who are residents of the City

             Pursuant to City Ordinance No. 2006-008, otherwise known as the Scholarship Ordinance of the City of San Fernando, it is declared as a policy of the City to extend educational assistance to poor and underprivileged but deserving high school and college students, and academically excellent students. Moreover, the ordinance aims to provide the target recipients access to education and motivation to achieve outstanding academic performances.

             Indigent high school and college students residing in the City of San Fernando for at least 1 year may apply for the scholarship program.

             Among the recommending authorities set forth in the ordinance is the Office of the City Mayor. Therefore, aspiring applicants may avail the scholarship through the said office provided that they fulfill the qualifications set in City Ordinance No. 2006-008.

NO FEES AND CHARGES REQUIRED.
