             Under the Consumer Act of the Philippines, the Office of the City Treasurer shall be responsible for testing, calibration, sealing and licensing of weights and measures in all consumer-related transactions to ensure the consumer’s protection and satisfaction in terms of accuracy of weight of goods purchased.

             In case of unsealed, inaccurate or defective weighing scale, it shall be confiscated and a corresponding penalty fee shall be applied.

License Fee:     PhP 150.00
Calibration / Sealing Fee:     PhP 100.00

Total Fee:     PhP 250.00 per unit
