The City Budget Office as part of the Local Finance Committee (LFC) reviews and consolidates the budget proposals of different departments and offices of the LGU relative to the preparation of the Annual Budget as indicated in Section 316 [g], RA No. 7160. It involves cost estimation per program, projects and activities (PPA), preparation of budget proposals, executive review of budget proposals, and preparation of the Local Expenditure Program (LEP) and the Budget Message.
