Who may avail:                High school and College students from a low income (indigent) household and academically excellent students                     

             Pursuant to City Ordinance No. 2006-008, otherwise known as the Scholarship Ordinance of the City of San Fernando, it is declared as a policy of the City to extend educational assistance to poor and underprivileged but deserving high school and college students, and academically excellent students. Moreover, the ordinance aims to provide the target recipients access to education and motivation to achieve outstanding academic performances.

             Among the recommending authorities set forth in the ordinance is the Office of the City Vice Mayor. Therefore, aspiring applicants may avail the scholarship through the said office provided that they fulfill the qualifications set in City Ordinance No. 2006-008.
